Toward High Entropy

Toward High Entropy

Entropy is a measure of the disorder of a system. Systems tend to go from a state of order (low entropy) to a state of disorder (high entropy). Entropy could heal our planet from the symptoms of climate change through the dissipation of greenhouse gases blanketing our upper atmosphere which would allow the earth to cool. This would, first, require a significant reduction in the greenhouse gas emissions by humans. Unless this happens, we will see the extinction of many species (maybe even homo sapiens). Regardless, earth will trend toward high entropy and its jungles will always take over.
