A euphemism for the extinction of living species. Human-caused global environmental impacts are already leading to deleterious effects on the earth’s species such as bats, amphibians and coral reefs. Experts are saying that it’s likely we are at the start of the earth’s 6th major extinction of plants and animals. My hope is that you will turn this piece using the handle and think about how we can conduct our lives in a way that reduces our impact.
