Progress

Progress is the first piece in a series that constituted a new approach and direction to my mosaic art. I had been intrigued by and interested in working with slate for several years. When I discovered and salvaged slate roofing tiles, it was time to realize this ambition. While exploring the material and the limited color palette, extemporaneous serendipity reigned and “Progress” was created.
